CIVIDALE del Friuli diventa patrimonio mondiale Unesco

Da Giugno 2011 Cividale del Friuli, che fu anche primo ducato longobardo in Italia, rientra nella lista dei Siti Patrimonio Mondiale dell' Unesco.

Cividale, grazie al Tempietto Longobardo, uno dei sette simboli più rappresentativi del potere longobardo in Italia, è riuscita a fregiarsi di questo importante titolo, rientrando assieme ad altre città italiane che conservano prestigiose testimonianze longobarde, nella "via longobardorum": un itinerario che ha proprio nella antica Forum Iulii il suo punto di partenza.
